We truly want to translate words into action on how the World can come together through Cinema and, most of all, to demonstrate that the Oscars or the Golden Globes, with all due respect, do not represent the “best” of Global Cinema from several points of view (technical and objective achievements, popular emotional reach etc.). For decades we all had that illusion, but from another perspective it’s a total different story.
NO to politics and YES to real talent. NO to elite-driven hypocrisy and YES to common sense. We’re here because filmmakers and movie lovers want and need what we are about to give them.
